Miniature Schnauzers make great companions and family pets. They are small dogs with big personalities. It’s impossible to name all the wonderful things about these dogs! Mini Schnauzers are always ready to learn something new, go on outings with the family, or just cuddle up with you on the couch. Miniature Schnauzers love pleasing their owners. They are very trainable and with a little work, incredibly obedient.
We raise each and every one of our puppies in our home and socialize accordingly to make sure that our dogs will grow up to be the very best they can be. Our nursery is in our main living space so they are never without attention. We want to make sure that when they leave us to go live with their forever families they will provide companionship and love for many years to come. For these reasons health, conformation and temperament are of utmost importance to us.
Grooming: Schnauzers are well known for the fact that the shed very little, if at all, making them a good choice for people with allergies. This is because, rather than fur, like most breeds have, they grow hair similar to humans, that never stops growing. Because of this, they do require regular grooming. We clip our dogs every 4-8 weeks and trim their skirts and beards as needed. If skirts are kept full, regular brushing is required to keep tangles out.
